National Estate Planning Awareness Week 2022 Promotion Toolkit

October 15, 2022 by Ronald "Chip" Morrison

Key Takeaways

  • Join us October 17 – 23, 2022 for National Estate Planning Awareness Week, a nationwide effort to help the public understand what estate planning is and why it is such a vital component of financial wellness.
  • Discover the value of a team approach to estate planning awareness.
Team roster: Estate Planning Attorney, Financial Advisor, Insurance Professional, Accountant or CPA

Only 33 percent of U.S. adults have estate planning documents, such as a will or living trust. There’s a very high chance that you know neighbors, community members, or family members who died without a will or other planning documents, leaving their families in disarray.

Join us October 17 – 23, 2022 for a nationwide observance to educate our community about what estate planning is and why it’s so important not only to their well-being but to the comfort and happiness of their loved ones.

The resources in the National Estate Planning Awareness Week Promotion toolkit below have been developed to help you maximize your impact in raising estate planning awareness for the families you serve.  You’re encouraged to use these tools for any activities you have planned this week and throughout the year, along with repurposing them on your website.

Our toolkit offers digital assets you can use to generate engagement and encourage your community to play a role in estate planning awareness.

Explore this new resource to help you create new partnerships within your community, and raise awareness about estate planning.

Shareable social media toolkit

These sample social media posts can be adapted and used to promote National Estate Planning Awareness Week across your organization’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages or email correspondence during the week of October 17 – 23, 2022.
