Ronald “Chip” Morrison, Jr. is a Board Certified Estate Planning Law Specialist as certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Morrison is the sole owner of Morrison Law Group, PLC. He has devoted his practice to estate planning, probate, and business law for more than 16 years.

Mr. Morrison has litigated and administered many complex successions and business buy-outs and disputes and has given numerous presentations to attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, certified financial planners, insurance agents, the National Business Institute, the Louisiana CPA Society, and individual CPA firms and insurance agencies throughout the State of Louisiana.
He has been qualified by the Louisiana Bar Association, Louisiana Department of Insurance, and the Louisiana Society of CPA’s to present continuing education programs discussing various Elder Law, Medicaid, Business, and Estate Planning topics.
Mr. Morrison is a proud member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys. The Academy is a limited membership organization that provides continuing legal education to members and practice management support and training. The goal of the Academy is to help foster excellence in attorney member services to their clients. Chip regularly attends specialized and advanced training by the experts in the Academy Education Department several times a year. This includes two national conferences sponsored by the Academy for its members, which allow him to network with Estate Planning Lawyers from across the country.
Chip Morrison strongly believes in continuing education. He devotes substantial time and resources to stay up to date on the latest laws, trends, and techniques. He attends numerous local and regional estate planning training courses each year on state and federal laws and developing techniques.
Mr. Morrison is a member of the Jefferson Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and the New Orleans Estate Planning Council. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Louisiana. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle District of Louisiana.
Chip graduated from Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Georgia, and received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Business Management from the University of New Orleans. He was awarded his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center and graduated with Cum Laude honors. He is certified to practice before the Veterans Administration Board. Mr. Morrison enjoys the privilege of representing small business owners, estates, and families throughout the State of Louisiana.
Attorney Chip Morrison is a member of the Jefferson Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and the New Orleans Estate Planning Council.
Mr. Morrison is married with three children and lives in Mandeville. He is an avid Louisiana outdoorsman. When he isn’t working, Chip enjoys hunting, fishing, cheering on the kids at their soccer games, and reading.
Kimberly N. Morrison
After a successful 17-year career in public education, Kim Morrison has happily joined our firm, Morrison Law Group, PLC. As Client Relations Coordinator, Kim serves as primary contact for our clients and promotes an exemplary experience in any contact clients have with Morrison Law Group. She plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the law office, including planning public and client Workshops, preparing legal documents, and coordinating marketing efforts.
Kim holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of New Orleans and she is recognized as a National Board Certified Teacher in the areas of early and middle childhood literacy. Kim’s second full-time job is “domestic engineer,” although the Morrison’s three kids prefer to just call her “mom.”
Meredith M. Turner
Meredith Turner provides legal and administrative support for the team at Morrison Law Group, PLC. Meredith has over ten years of experience in customer service and has been working in the field of law since 2017. Before joining our firm, she worked as a legal assistant at a boutique family law firm in Walker, Louisiana.
Among many other tasks, Meredith’s daily goal is to accommodate the needs of every client, along with drafting legal documents, corresponding with courts, managing calendars, and maintaining client databases. Meredith realizes that each client’s situation is unique, and she is sure to take note of the perspective of every case to be able to cater to each client in a professional yet comforting manner.
Meredith holds a master’s degree in Sociology, with a focus on Criminal Justice, from Southeastern Louisiana University.
