“Writing a will? That’s for old people, or so we thought. When we noticed friends talking about getting their “affairs in order,” we decided to take the plunge.
It was a little unnerving at first to think about writing a will and wondering how to handle things. Actually, it was painless to accomplish it. Our family attorney, Chip Morrison, walked us through every step of the way. We realize now how important it is to settle things and relieve yourself and your heirs of any guessing about your financial and medical wishes.
Now that is all is said and done, we feel a certain sense of satisfaction that we have “handled” things on our own while we are able to make our own decisions. Yes, we feel pride in completing things that need to be done and being ready for whatever comes our way. Cheer to us!”
