Special Needs Legal Planning: Steps to Take & Mistakes to Avoid

    Monday, May 20, 2024

    1:00 p.m.

    In-Person Workshop

Morrison Law Group, PLC is teaming with SERVE Homeschool Outreach to create this opportunity for families to learn how to avoid the most common legal and financial traps they will face as their child transitions into adulthood.

Parents, Grandparents, and Caregivers are invited to learn:

    • How to pass money to a child with disabilities so they are never disqualified from receiving government benefits.
    • How to prepare future caregivers to manage your child’s affairs if you ever become sick, disabled, or pass away and can no longer provide care.
    • How and when to use guardianships, ABLE accounts, and Special Needs Trusts to “fund” a lifetime of care for your child.
